Description

The kit is composed of two PCB “peel and stick” boards, wiring and connector spades designed for use in any Walthers heavyweight passenger car.  The “light bar” board features 5 equally spaced surface mounted warm white LEDs, and is long enough for use in 60 foot combine and head end cars, and up to 85 foot cars of any type.  The purchaser can add up to 8 more LEDs on the “light bar” at his/her discretion.  Future kits will feature custom lighting arrangements for many different sizes and types of cars.  This basic kit also includes our power control board which is designed to fit into common restroom or kitchen/pantry spaces of typical passenger cars.  The two boards are pre-wired together with appropriate connection spades that conveniently slip onto the Walthers lighting contacts provided in every “Proto” Line passenger car.
