Description

The kit is composed of two PCB “peel and stick” boards, wiring and connector spades designed for use in any HO scale Walthers lightweight passenger car.  The “light bar” PC board features 5 equally spaced surface mounted cool white LEDs, and is long enough for use in 60 foot combine and head end cars, and up to 85 foot cars of any type.  The purchaser can add up to 8 more LEDs on the “light bar” at his/her discretion.  The kit will work on both DCC and DC powered layouts (please refer to attached instructions for full details).  Future kits will feature custom lighting arrangements for many different sizes and types of cars.  This basic kit includes our power control board which is designed to fit into common restroom or kitchen/pantry spaces in HO passenger cars.  Once assembled (full instructions included), the two PC boards are wired together with appropriate connection spades that conveniently slip onto the Walthers lighting contacts provided in every “Proto” Line passenger car.  Basic soldering skills and tools required.
